Sensory Garden
Built as a collaboration with the environmental projects organisation BCTV and neighbours UKAEA and Lafarge Cement, the sensory garden at Chilton School, Oxfordshire, was opened in 2005 by TV wildlife champion Chris Packham.

Perspekt's design forms the armature for planting and artwork by school students' gardening club. The brief was to provide a setting for a broad range of sensory experience in a small space.

Combining the forms of  a sundial and a snail shell, the garden is closely integrated with the school entrance area and accessible to all. The visitor is drawn inward from a high-walled south-facing 'Mediterranean' zone to a central water source and the architectural gnomon.
